The Stockholm Symposium

Stockholm · A weekly philosophy circle in Stockholm. One question, our own conclusions.

One question. An evening. Our own conclusions.

The Stockholm Symposium is a small philosophy circle that meets every week. We don't gather to study philosophy. We gather to do it. Each week we take a single question, think it through together, and publish what we concluded.

No booking, no limited seats. Email or message the Discord so I know to expect you.

Where & when

How an evening works

1

One question

We meet around a single question, chosen the week before. “What is love?” “Is there free will?”

2

We think it through

No lecture, no required reading. We reason together, quoting the great philosophers when they help, disagreeing freely, and taking notes.

3

We conclude

Before the night ends we write down what we actually concluded. Not the textbook answer, ours. Then we publish it here.

And the questions are yours. Anyone can add a question to the list for next week, we put it to a vote, and the one the room most wants to think about wins. English and Swedish are both welcome at the table.
